Paul Stevenson is a senior biostatistician with over a decade of experience spanning contract research organisations, academic research institutes, and the pharmaceutical industry. His career is grounded in rigorous statistical practice within regulated clinical environments, having held senior roles at Avance Clinical and The Kids Research Institute Australia (formerly Telethon Kids Institute).
At Avance Clinical, Paul provided end-to-end ownership of clinical data pipelines and statistical reporting across early phase trials, working closely with sponsors, clinicians, and data teams to deliver audit-ready outputs that meet the highest standards of data quality and documentation.
Prior to his CRO work, Paul served as a consulting biostatistician at The Kids Research Institute Australia, where he partnered directly with research-active clinicians and academics across a broad portfolio of health research projects. This role deepened his expertise in study design, analytical rigour, and the clear communication of statistical findings – skills reflected in an established publication track record. Earlier in his career, Paul also contributed to analytical development at Sun Pharma Australia, managing method validation under ICH/GCP guidelines.
